An idea about a terrible deal…

The People’s Vote campaign opened a minimart in Peckham called Costupper (geddit) stuffed with “the worst deals ever”. Brexit-themed wares included Price-Up Krispies, Tomato Botchup, Conman’s Mustard and, our fave, Brexit Porky Pies.

Watch the video of the store opening

An idea about battered plastic…

In 2050 there could be more plastic in the ocean than fish. So environmental charity Plastic Oceans UK served up battered plastic to customers in a local chippie and filmed them on a hidden camera. A taste of what’s to come?

Watch people try and eat battered plastic (it’s as rank as that sounds)…

An idea about curiosity…

London pop-up brand experiences are ubiquitous. So kudos to Google’s ‘Curiosity Rooms’ in the heart of Piccadilly. Two floors of free talks & workshops showing how fashion, food, music, art and tech all collide. Also, it has a slide…

Book a place on one of the free events…

Every month we run the rule over the best ideas from around the world - ideas that we think represent our real ideas™ ethos

An idea about mirrors…

Every Christmas, Newcastle store Fenwick’s unveils a spectacular festive window display, throwing the humble Greggs opposite into shade. But this year, Greggs snuck its way into the display. How? By hanging its sign backwards…

See how the locals reacted

An idea about being run over…

Canadian insurer SAAQ wanted to reduce pedestrian fatalities. So it put a digital billboard in bus shelters with a skeleton that ‘copied’ passers-by.
And then it smashed ‘their’ skeleton to bits by running it over. Brutal.

See the billboard in action (not for the faint-hearted)
